All at once is overwhelming

A one-page form is fine if it is short, but to offer St. Jude donors with the offers they need, we needed a stepped approach to help people focus.

Problems to solve

Decisions at beginning, affect options later

For example, certain options changed based on the donor's country of residence. Forcing the donor to make that decision first, led to delivered the right experience for them later on.

Balancing enough options to serve diverse audiences with simple / quick donation

Some people want to get a gift with their donation. Some people want to dedicate their donation in honor or in memory of someone. Taking these options away leads to frustration for those who expect to have this experience.
